Callboys from kantos tied-up with fur

Sint’nadong kar’oke and salted duck egg

Taho and sisig and rice with garlic

Di-Bi-Di’s sold at ten pesos or less

These are my favorite Filipino things.

Construs in sandos with big bulging — muscles

Clans that stay in the House though unwanted

Scorching hot sun that suffers all year

These are my favorite Filipino things.

 

When wang-wangs ring

When either Aquino speaks

When I’m feeling sad

I simply remember fav’rite Fil’pino things

Though then I still feel

A li’l bit bad.
